Marc Oliu received the Technical Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Universitat de Girona, Girona, in 2010. He finished his Master degree in Artificial Intelligence at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Universitat de Barcelona (UB), and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) and his PhD degree at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). He is interested in Computer Vision and Machine Learning Fields.

Albert Clapés received his Bachelor degree in Computer Science at Universitat de Barcelona (UB) in 2012. He obtained the Master degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2014 at UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), UB and URV. He did the PhD on action recognition. Sorina Georgiana Smeureanu received her BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest, Romania, in 2016, and her MSc degree in Artificial Intelligence at the same university, in 2018. After a three months internship at the Computer Vision Center in Barcelona, she decided to start a Ph.D. at the Universitat de Barcelona. Cristina Palmero received her Bachelor degree in Audiovisual Telecommunication Systems Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2011. She studied her Master degree in Artificial Intelligence at Universitat de Barcelona (UB), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). She defended her PhD in gaze estimation via deep learning at Universitat de Barcelona in 2024. She is mainly interested in signal and image processing and computer vision techniques applied to human behavior analysis, scene understanding and robotics.

Meysam Madadi received his Bachelor degree in Software Engineering at BuAli Sina university of Hamedan and M.S. degree in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2007 and 2013, respectively. He did research on human pose recovery and human behavior analysis for his master thesis Extraction of body soft-biometry from 3D videos using Kinect. He is interested in generating and developing new algorithms in these topics applying the knowledge in computer vision and retrieval systems besides machine learning, algorithms design in artificial intelligence, statistics, and linear algebra.

Julio C. S. Jacques Junior is a postdoctoral researcher at the Computer Vision Center (CVC), member of the Human Pose Recovery and Behavior Analysis group (HuPBA), and a researcher collaborator at University of Barcelona (UB), ChaLearn and ChaLearn Looking At People. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC, 2017-2020) and at University of Barcelona (UB, 2016-2017). He has been collaborating with the organization of Workshops and Challenges organized by ChaLearn LAP at high impact conferences such as ECCV’16, ICPR’16, CVPR/IJCNN’17, NeurIPS’19, ECCV’20, FG’20 and CVPR’21. He received his MS degree in Applied Computing (UNISINOS, Brazil) and his PhD degree in Computer Science (PUCRS, Brazil). His research interests include, between others, computer vision-based applications with special attention in visual human behavior analysis.

Hugo Bertiche Argila obtained the Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2015. Later, he received the MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) in 2017. Finally, he obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), as a member of the Human Pose and Behaviour Analysis (HuPBA). His Ph.D. began with focus on Computer Vision and 3D human pose and shape recovery through deep learning. He quickly transitioned to 3D clothing in human centric domains, which is more strongly aligned with his interests: deep learning, computer graphics and physics. Hugo believes deep learning has barely scratched the surface of its potential within the 3D garment domain and he is eager to see what we all will be able to build in the future.

Javier Selva Castelló received his Bachelor degree in Computer Science at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2015. Two years later he got his MSc in Artificial Intelligence from Universitat de Barcelona (UB), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and Universitat Rovila i Virgili (URV). He completed his Ph.D at the Universitat de Barcelona. His main research interests include Computer Vision and Natural Language processing, specially with self-supervised and multi-modal approaches. He is interested in understanding and analyzing learning algorithms for a more informed development of new Machine Learning techniques.

Zejian Zhang received his Bachelor degree in Automation and Control Technology from Central South University, China, in 2010. He worked as an electronic engineer for two years, and later joined a scientific publishing house where he worked as Managing Editor for open access journals. He obtained his Master degree in Computer Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2019. Currently he is a PhD student at the Universitat de Barcelona.

Rubén Ballester received his Bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science at Universitat de Barcelona (UB) in 2021, and the Advanced Mathematics and Mathematical Engineering master at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2022. He is a research assistant specialized whose main research interests are applied topology, discrete mathematics, algorithms and deep learning theory.

Hunor Laczko received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest, Hungary in 2019. After this he completed an Erasmus Mundus Joint Triple Master’s Degree in Image Processing and Computer Vision at Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Hungary), University of Bordeaux (France) and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) in 2021. He did his master thesis in cooperation with the Computer Vision Center. Currently he is a PhD at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in the topic of 3D garment animation.

German Barquero graduated in Mathematics and Computer Science from Universitat de Barcelona (UB) in 2020, which included a research stay in the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) for 1 year. In 2021, he obtained an MSc in Computer Vision from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He is currently starting a PhD at Universitat de Barcelona. David Pujol received his Bachelor degree in Computer Science at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2020. Two years later, he got his MSc in Innovation and Research in Informatics also from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). During this time he completed two academic exchanges both at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETHZ) and at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), in Switzerland. Currently he is a PhD student at Universitat de Barcelona (UB) working on video understanding applications.

Yudong Yan received his Bachelor degree in Electronic Packaging Technology at Xidian University, Xi’an, China in 2017, and Master degree in Automatic Systems Engineering and Industrial Electronics at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain in 2020. After three years working on Smart Agriculture in a farm robot company, he started the PhD at Universitat de Barcelona. His main research direction is individual identification, tracking, and behavior analysis in animal field.

Johnny Núñez Cano eceived his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Universitat de Barcelona in June 2021. In July 2022, he completed an MSc in Fundamental Principles of Data Science, also from the Universitat de Barcelona, followed by an MSc in Computer Vision at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, expected in September 2023. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Vision at the Universitat de Barcelona, with a focus on Human-Robot-Object Interactions, Generative AI, and 3D Vision. He is an active member of Jetson Research Lab and Robotics from Nvidia.
